Fabien is a technical consultant for the wine and spirits industry with over 20 years of hands-on experience in various regions such as Bordeaux, the South-West of France, Champagne, Burgundy, Piemonte, and various wine-producing regions in Switzerland.
After studying biology and biochemistry at the University of Orléans in France, Fabien decided to switch his field of study to winemaking and viticulture, joining a technical and vocational school in St-Émilion from which he graduated with honorable mention. Subsequently, he studied at the sought-after Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin (IUVV) Jules Guyot, the Vine and Wine Science Institute of the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France.
After graduating, Fabien spent 1 year in Switzerland during which he completed a series of research studies with the Agroscope RAC Changins. In 2006, Fabien jumped at an opportunity to relocate to California, which has been his home ever since.
In 2014, Fabien was hired by Oenofrance, the leading innovating supplier of sustainable enological products and supplies in order to develop their operations in the United States of America, which he continues to lead today as head of the Technical Consulting department and Sales Manager.
Bernadette is a writer and editor whose editorial work has been published in The Spruce Eats, Food & Wine, INSIDER, Food52, The Kitchn, and numerous other national publications. She holds 15+ years of client relations experience and marketing skills obtained from positions in entertainment, fashion, interior design, food writing, and fine wine and spirits.
Bernadette has also served as a copy writer for brands such as Thrive Market, Wine.com, Driveway, Thermomix, and Wizme. She can assist with brand management and marketing, event planning, and e-commerce.
Additionally, Bernadette offers consulting services to build a cohesive and robust wine and spirits collection, and can assist in personal cellar management.
